Test Your Genome helps people decide what kind of DNA test fits their goal, understand the files they receive, protect their genetic privacy, and recognize when a consumer result needs qualified professional follow-up.
Our operating rules
- Technology before brand. We explain what a test measures before telling you where to buy one.
- Raw data matters. We teach file formats and portability instead of treating the provider dashboard as the genome.
- Privacy is part of the product. Sample retention, deletion, research consent and data transfer deserve comparison alongside price.
- No fake certainty. A raw variant is not automatically a diagnosis, and “more DNA” does not make every interpretation correct.
- Affiliate relationships are disclosed. Some provider links can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.
